A Water Softener Plant is a filtration system that removes hardness from raw water through the process of ion exchange.
Hard water contains excessive calcium (Ca²⁺) and magnesium (Mg²⁺) ions which cause scaling, reduce heating efficiency, and damage industrial equipment.
The softener replaces these ions with sodium (Na⁺) ions, resulting in soft, non-scaling water that’s gentle on pipelines and machinery.
The softening process is based on cation exchange resin technology.
